Works well even under low light conditions
I've been looking for a UV meter for a while - most are junk. This one seems to work well - from bright sunlight to dim interior sources of UV. I'm able to measure exactly how much UV light makes it through windows, glasses, etc. I found most sunglasses block nearly all UV light. While car windows (especially side windows) dont block much. Really nice to get a quantitative number!

It allows me to verify that glasses advertised as UV blocking actually do so. I am at high risk for macular degeneration and need to limit how much UV hits my retinas. Easy to use.
